Container-Garden-Room

12 weeks is the average turn-around time for our containers.

It can vary depending on your specifications and individual requirements.

On average, it will take 12 weeks from your order being finalized, to your container being delivered to your desired location.

You get your say in how you want your design to look so this maybe add a bit of time on, but once your design is finalized, it will take 12 weeks!

Yes you will of course have a say!

All units are made to order (within reason) and you get to chose what you would like yours to have. From plumbing, to extra windows to the color and style of wood you would like to use.

Do I need to apply for planning permission before getting my container?

Planning Permission

Not for up to a maximum size of 25 square meters (270 Sq ft)

You are entitled to construct/install selfcontainer up to a maximum size of 25 square meters (270 Sq ft) provided you leave 25 square meters of free space in your Garden. If you are planning a house extension down the line it is important that you leave the 25 square meters free area after both the selfcontainer and house extension are completed/installed. The 25 sq m free space can be made up of the side and the rear of the property.

The height must not exceed 3 meters.

Our 20ft Selfcontainers are under 15sqm and less than 3 meters high.

What functions can the containers serve as?

They have served a wide variety of functions so far!

The only limit is your imagination.

From pop up coffee shops, the residential housing spaces. But the most common use we have seen, is office spaces for companies wanting to get that extra bit of space for their workers.
